Colin McAlister '24 Recruiting Profile

Wrestling has shaped me into the person I am today, and I am truly grateful that I have been able to spend the majority of my life on a wrestling mat. I am a good candidate for any team because I take pride in my work ethic, coachability, leadership, and being a good teammate. I am different from other recruits because I prioritize my academics just as much as my wrestling career. I am a student before I am an athlete, and my grades and test scores show that. I am also an extremely loyal person. I love to be the guy that's there for their teammates and coaches, and I will do anything to try to aid in their success. Being coachable is very important to me because I always want to strive to be the best version of myself, and the coaches know how to get me there. Finally, I am very passionate about giving back to the wrestling community. I have been coaching youth wrestlers for nearly 4 years now, and I hope to make a career in it someday.
