Personal Statement
I love wrestling more than any thing. I joined my high school wrestling team sophomore year half way through the season. In Louisiana girls wrestling is not sanctioned. For this reason girls are forced to wrestle under the title of JV select. I have had a lot of success in the 2022-2023 wrestling season. I came second place in the first ever Pink Panthers tournament. This was also my first ever tournament I came first place at the battle of New Orleans tournament in the girl’s division. I also came second place at girls state. I did all of this while being a full honor course student, an active member of our schools theater department, a member of student council, a member of the jazz band, and able to maintain a 3.8 GPA. This has been my first real year of wrestling and I do not want the 2023-2024 season to be my last. I will do whatever it takes to make it to the top
