When I was 5 I started my journey into MMA and continued with combat sports like jiu jitsu and even have had 3 amateur cage fights after becoming very dominant on the east coast. In 5th grade I decided it was time for a new challenge and through many connections I had developed through jiu jitsu and MMA the door to wrestling was very open. I started my journey with doughboy wrestling club in Lowell MA. I believe my heart and desire to improve my craft no matter what I'm doing whether its competing or learning in the classroom sets me apart from athletes who may be more advanced than me. I set high standards in the classroom and always try to be the best leader I can in the wrestling room.
Coaches recommendations: There is a lot I can say about Dyllan as an athlete, a leader, a student and an all around outstanding young man. However, I personally think another coach in our region summed it up best when he went out of his way to come up to me and say, “Now that’s a wrestler you can build a program around.” Dyllan is simply one of those natural leaders and role models that grabs peoples’ attention and who people want to follow. Any program that Dyllan is a part of will be stronger because he is there. He is coachable, dependable, respectful and a competitor in every sense of the word. He is insightful, self-aware and driven. To top it all off, he is an exceptional athlete and technician. Dyllan will achieve whatever he puts his mind to and is capable of rising to any occasion. That, I am certain of.
