Nevaeh Cordell '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nevaeh Cordell and I would like to pursue my wrestling career on the collegiate level. I have been wrestling for 9 years and my best high school accomplishment was being the team captain of my high school Varsity Wrestling team from 2021-2023. I have recieved 2nd place in points at Kenwood High School Best of the Nests Duals Tournament, 2022 2nd place and 2023 1st place at Flowers High school Winter Blitz, 3rd place at Northern High School Patriot Classic, 2023 4A County Champ, 2022 4A Regional Champ, 2022 Maryland State qualifier, 2018 placed 4th and 2019 5th in Maryland State Youth Wresting Tournament, 2019 Capital Area Wrestling League Champ and Selectee to attend Olympic Training Camp, 2019 Southern Maryland Junior Wrestling League Undefeated Champ, and awarded The Marlboro Club Wrestler of the year 2019. I have lead my High School team to State Duals with a team record of 16-1 and accomplished an undefeated season in Prince George's County with an overall record of 34-2. The qualities I can bring to a college team are dedication, encouragement, discipline, support, focus and optimistic attitude. I like to have positive impacts on my peers and youth around me. I have managed my academics, extra curricular activities, work, and sports very well being Co-Captain of the Marching Band, Co-Captain of the Lacrosse team, a Honor roll student 2022-2023, youth wrestling league volunteer, and a youth boxing trainer.
