My name is Tegan Ray, and I am a 16-year-old wrestler who has been dedicated to the sport since the age of three. From the moment I first stepped onto the mat, wrestling has been more than just a hobby it's my lifestyle. Over the years, this sport has taught me invaluable lessons in discipline, hard work, and teamwork.
Starting so young, I quickly developed a deep love for the challenge and strategy involved in the sport of wrestling. The physical and mental demands of the sport have shaped who I am today, pushing me to strive for excellence and to never give up mentally both on and off the mat. I have participated in countless matches and tournaments, each experience contributing to my growth as an athlete and an individual.
Looking ahead, I am excited to continue my journey in wrestling, by pursuing both my personal goal of being a national champion and team goal of helping everyone around me be better as people and athletes. My commitment to this sport extends beyond the mat, as I aspire to inspire others with my passion and to contribute positively to the people around me. Wrestling has been my greatest teacher, and I am excited to see where this path will take me in the future.
