Long ago back in 2015, on a car ride home from practice I told my dad that I thought wrestling was my sport. Since then I've been putting every ounce of effort I have into the sport. Which, so far, has culminated in two placements in the state finals. Wrestling has given me confidence, and helped me realize that little details matter. This focus on minute details has even helped spark my interest in automotive engineering. Where the tiniest detail can be the difference between a smooth running engine and engine failure. Naturally, I'd like to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering in college to go into this field. Wrestling has already taught me a lot, but there are still many lessons to be learnt and matches to be won, the majority of which lie in a collegiate wrestling career.
