I began wrestling my freshman year of high school with almost no idea what I was getting into. Some of my friends I played football with who were on the wrestling team previous years had convinced me to try the sport. I didn't have the greatest first season with only 7 wins on JV, but I had fun none the less with a great team that's very supportive. Now this year in my second year wrestling, I had 10+ wins on varsity. Like my coach always says, "There's always room for improvement," and that's exactly what I intend to keep on doing. I only see myself getting better and better.
EDIT: I am currently in my third year of wrestling a few weeks out from team sections and individual sections, and I am absolutely loving it. I have improved so much over the past couple of years and seeing the changes in myself is astounding.
