2021 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Two things I love to do outside of wrestling is hunt and fish. There is a lot of similarity in what makes someone successful at hunting and fishing and what makes someone successful at wrestling. The main thing required is a passion for the sport. They also require preparation, patience, determination, perseverance, and the ability to learn from failure. And no matter the outcome, the pursuit is what’s exciting. Wrestling has taught me to learn from losing and learn from winning. Failure motivates me; winning motivates me. My faith in Jesus keeps me grounded through the preparation, pursuit, wins, and losses. Along with wrestling I am dedicated in school and work hard at it to get good grades. I’m excited to keep growing and learning in wrestling and continuing my pursuit!

- I wrestled under Rick Moreno of Sudden Victory for my 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, then intermittently during the offseason during high school (2015-2021). I started wrestling at the age of 5 and wrestled in hometown clubs for 5 years. In 5th grade I wrestled in a club 90 miles from home. My 6th grade year, I started wrestling at Sudden Victory Wrestling, which is about 110 miles from where I live. I wrestle under both SV and under our off-season high school club (Bruin Wrestling Club).
