Getting into the heart-breaker round in districts was the highlight of my freshman year during wrestling, but I think I gained the most experience as an athlete my sophomore year when I started to put my even more heart and effort into my work as a wrestler. I think the skills I am developing are making me a better athlete because I am finding out easier ways to do moves by watching film and spending extra time after practice. Wrestling has made me a better person because I am becoming some one that not only my teammates want to be around but many other student in my school. Wrestling has also made me a leader because I am helping everyone on the wrestling team and in school on a daily basis to help them succeed.
I would like to find a place that will suite my competitiveness both athletically and academically. I am a disciplined person, and I try to keep all my grades above a B- at all times. I also believe that if I start something I will always make sure to put forth maximum effort in order to succeed. I believe I have exactly what it takes to wrestle at a high level and make an impact on a program both on the mat and off.
