William Lopez '25 Recruiting Profile

I have been wrestling for almost 7 years now and I am obsessed with it. It is my dream to continue wrestling in college. To me it doesn’t matter what collegiate level as long is I get to wrestle.  

In the wrestling room I try to be an example among my teammates. I am very coachable and will always appreciate criticism. I am always looking to improve and learning new techniques. Throughout my life I have always gave it my 100% effort in everything and wrestling is the same. I believe that I am the one of the hardest working recruits out there. I work all year round by doing other sports, going to camps, going to club practices, wrestling in tournaments, and lifting to get stronger.

Even in the classroom I set a good example. I always do my best to study and maintain a high GPA. I have received yearly honor awards for my academic achievements.

I am open to join any college that is willing to take me in. I will work my hardest and give it my all every single day. I will give my best effort in both athletics and academics. I am very excited and ready to make everyone proud.
