Wrestling has definitely influenced who I am today. Wrestling helped me be tuff, embrace my competitiveness and have fun. My wrestling career all started in 6th grade when my peewee football coach told me that I should try wrestling to get better at football. I went to the first Edison rec practice and got beat up, but that just fueled me to want to get better. I ended up liking wrestling more than football and just dropped football to wrestle all year round. Other than wrestling my academics are very important to me too. My first two years of high school weren't the best because I didn't take school seriously, but covid helped me see that school isn't really that hard and all I needed to do was do the work. My grades have improved a lot since my freshman year and I plan to keep them that way.
