Hello
My name is Salvatore Claudio Famularo,
Currently in the fall I will begin my Junior year at Stienert High school. I am a very well rounded healthy full of life Athlete.
My strength and determination instilled on to me by my family has gotten me to the place I am today.. My plan is to study to be a Teacher in college but also hopes of continuing with my athletic abilities in a college in either Soccer or Wrestling both in which I am very active in since the age of five years old. In soccer I have been on the started as the Captain on the freshman team and then once sophomore year came I was moved right up to the Varsity squad. Along with playing soccer for my high school I also am on a local travel team for both indoor and out door season. My second sport for winter but one that i train also for year round is wrestling. I have great passion and determination as an athlete.. Just for some background, my Freshman year as the varsity 113 pound wrestler. My freshman year status came to 24/5 ( 24 wins, 3 loses, and 2 medical forfeits) I was also ranked the 2nd place runner up Mercer county tournament , Also ALL MERCER COUNTY Second team. Unfortunately in my freshman year I was unable to close out the season due to a injury. Working hard in the off season towards with not exercise permitted finally being medically cleared the end of July to had only a couple of weeks to get back in to things was able to make the Varsity soccer team. Having a successful season with soccer preferring the position always being a midfielder. Winter came and it was time for My sophomore wrestling season. Once again the 113lb wrestling . Unfortunately surgeons did not clear me to work out with my upper body until the end of November I dug deep and got my self back to the strength and stamina I felt I needed to complete with the best of the best with one major GOAL in mind for the season.. Not able to partake n the entire season until being cleared in Mid February once I was on the mats with great success with a record of 8 wins and one medical forfeit. Moving on to the Districts I took first place. Decided to opt out of regions to work on my strength training in order to prepare for my junior year to avoid any possible injury and to stay my healthiest since I had such a short recovery time.. I have Major goals for my next two years as a athlete.. My future plans is to attend a four year college where I'd like to study education in order to become a High school teacher but also be able to be a coach. I have had such amazing mentors from coaches and Educators it has given me the inspiration for where I'd see my self most successful.
I thank you for taking the time and any consideration
Salvatore Claudio Famularo
