Hello coaches. My name is John Shadwell, and I am a current student and wrestler for Randolph High School. With hard work, determination, and a little luck I have been a successful student and athlete at Randolph High School.
I have been involved in this sport since I was around eight years old, and I believe that I have the potential to take the next step forward by competing in a college program. I am hoping to find a university that offers a highly accredited engineering program along with a highly competitive wrestling program.
With my season cut short last year due to an injury, I have little to show in terms of high school experience. However, my character remains the same both on and off the mat. I attempt to be a leader in everything I do.
My academic achievements are a testament to my work ethic and ability to persevere during difficult times. This work ethic has driven me to compete in this sport, to hate losing, and to always find ways to improve myself. I continue to wrestle for the valuable lessons this sport has taught me about success and how to achieve it.
