My desire to compete at a collegiate level is driven by the satisfaction I have found in all of the hard work and discipline from wrestling since I have been in second grade. 

I have tremendous heart and determination and a steadfast mindset. I see wrestling as both an independent and team sport which allows for its players to grow and reach their own goals. I am not an excuse maker. I know why I have lost the matches I have and I know why I have won the matches I have as well and I grow from every match and every season.  Accountability is very important to me and I like being accountable because winning feels better than losing and that mindset fuels my chase.

The values and lessons that I have learned from wrestling will continue to drive my desire to accomplish big things in my life. I have been wrestling since I have been 8 years old (soccer also) and have a relentless mindset with a very strong drive and commitment to being the best at whatever I attempt. I see how difficult things can become in life as an adult and I am sure that the perseverance I have found and learned will continue to allow me to find some other way to make it through whatever is in front of me.

Competing at varsity level for my full freshman and sophomore season has opened my eyes even wider in setting goals and accomplishing them. Before high school, the competition was blended and I found the challenge less exciting.  My goal was to be a four year varsity athlete and I will achieve that goal.

In order to maintain my conditioning and stamina, I also played a season of Fall Varsity soccer as a Junior after being away from soccer as a freshman and sophomore.

I am mixed on an exact field of study but have a strong interest in Health Sciences and the business of it as well.

Once you see my work ethic you will quickly realize that I will be an asset to your team and that my future will be full of hard work and plenty of satisfaction.
