I envision my college years to be a time period for personal growth both academically but on the mat as well. My goal is to explore educational areas that will position me well for a career once I graduate college. On the mat, I plan to continue to strive for further growth and success, remain committed and dedicated to the sport, and continue to learn and grow (and have fun).
I am a great candidate for any team as I am a hard worker, dedicated, and a team player. My high school wrestling team had minimal kids on it so I had to put in long hours practicing outside practice as I had minimal resources. I know the importance and value of practice both during the on and off seasons.
Wrestling is a mental sport and one thing I bring to the table is my personality. I am Vice President of my class. I am humorous, social, and focused. I am able to remain calm in all situations, which I bring that to the mat as well. In 9th grade I was a Section 3 Champion and 10th grade a NYS qualifier along with Division 1 Section 3 NYS Sportsmanship Winner, which speaks to my personality. I feel that wrestling has helped me with my academics as I am focused and driven to succeed not only on the mat but in life as well.
