I know I may not have many accolades quite YET, but I started taking this sport seriously this past summer (2019) and in that short time I've transformed myself from a JV Sophomore into a Junior who placed at Districts on my first trip there. I would credit this to lots of hard work during and after practice, superior conditioning, and the development of a more technical, scientific understanding of wrestling. As far as academics, I am proof that it IS possible to have elite level academics while still achieving on the mat, and I plan to take that to college. In the future, I aspire to be an orthopedic surgeon who can standby at big tournaments and fix wrestlers when accidents happen. While I cannot promise that I will make the starting lineup my freshman year of college, I can guarantee that with my work ethic and love of wrestling I will improve exponentially and be someone before my four years are up.
