My goals and aspirations are to finish my high school career knowing I gave it my all and moving on to the college level of wrestling. What I believe makes me a good candidate is my work ethic and my constant mindset of never giving up no matter the situation. Also academic wise I take honors math and just signed up for honors science, math, and government for the up and coming year. I also maintained a GPA of 3.8 my sophomore year. I started my wrestling career in seventh grade when i was inspired by my dad to try wrestling. My first I wasn’t the best of wrestler I ended my career at 13-13 At 170 but I learned so much through out that whole season. The summer going into my 8th grade year I went to wrestling camps, clubs and weight lifting as much as I could. Then when my 8th grade year started I felt like I was wrestling so much better and I had dropped a weight class to wrestle 160 and I ended my season with a record of 26-6. Going into my freshman year I did the same thing, I went to camps, clubs, and weight lifting and made the varsity team. I placed 2nd at our conference tournament and fourth at sectionals. I made it to distracts but didn’t get far enough to place and ended my freshman year with a record of 16-16. Going into my sophomore year I decided to play football and started going to their workouts and conditioning which helped me get stronger and faster. Going into my sophomore Season I made the varsity team again and placed 1st at our conference tournament. Then at sectionals I placed Sixth and didn’t make it to districts, but this summer going into my junior year I have registered for multiple tournaments and clubs including freestyle and Greco. In this coming year my goals are to place at the sectional tournament and to place at the district tournament and place at state, or hopefully become a state champ.
