I started wrestling at the age of four years-old and loved it the second I stepped on the mat. Through wrestling I've learned how to set short-term and long-term goals for myself and the importance of keeping my focus on those goals. My goal academically this year is to keep my 3.97 GPA while continuing to take AP courses.
My athletic goal was to place as a freshman at the 6A State Championship. I end up placing 4th with only losses to seniors. Now it’s time to win it! 2021 Fargo cadet double All American (finishing 5th in freestyle and 5th in greco) and NHSCA All American felt nice but leaves me super hungry to bring home the big stop sign! Should be an amazing junior year!
I will continue to develop and grow as a wrestler and a person. God has blessed me with a great family, great coaches and amazing opportunities. I truly believe that wrestling is the best sport to achieve my personal goals and can not image my life without it. It's help shape me into the person I am athletically, academically and spiritually . The work is worth it. I will attend the college to allow the best opportunity to become an NCAA All American while completing my degree as a civil engineer.
