I first became interested in wrestling my sixth-grade summer when my dad bought me a pair of wrestling shoes at a garage sale and said, "Maybe you'll want to try wrestling, and if not then oh well we can save them for your brothers maybe." Well I'm very grateful that he did buy those shoes because every since I started wrestling in the winter of my seventh-grade year, I've loved it! Wrestling has taught me lots of things in life, one of them being determination. I have learned this because wrestling is never easy, no sport is, but it's the challenge that I've learned to like and appreciate. Learning this lesson has helped me in all parts of life, including school. Being determined will help me be at the top of my class when I graduate high-school, and make me successful in getting a great degree from an outstanding college. I believe that this determination and will to be the best that I can be, is something that separates me from the pack, and will be a significant add-on for any team in the country.
