Personal Statement

My overall high school record is 69-16. 2016 Brute Nationals Champion at 122, 2017 OSSAA State runner up at 113 lbs, 2x OKUSA Freestyle State Runner Up at 113 & 120, 2x OKUSA Greco State Champion 113& 120.

-----------------

I started wrestling when I was 7. My first time on the mat I knew that wrestling was my sport. By the time I graduate high school I would like at least 1 national championship or state title, honestly I would love to have one all 4 years. I was the 2014 Oklahoma Cadet 100lbs Freestyle and Greco Roman champion. I want to be an Olympic freestyle wrestler and possibly a career in MMA.

I think I would be a good candidate cause I listen, I'm serious about my wrestling career, I work very hard every day in practice and outside of the gym. My grades are all A's and B's, my parents have helped me understand the importance of my education and athletics. I would like to go to Oklahoma State but any college that will give me the chance to show what I can do with the sport I love, would be awesome.

I also help with the local homeless coalition by helping my mom make meals twice a month for the homeless. I also like coaching young kids, I help my schools youth organization by assisting in coaching during practice and at tournaments. I hope to be able to come back home after college to help other young kids discover their dreams and goals; by mentoring, coaching and encouraging them to go after their dreams.
