I started wrestling 8 years ago in a local youth league and immediately had a passion for the sport.
What makes me a good candidate is that I work to get better almost every day by either lifting weights or going to wrestling practice and a lot of times both in the same day . I have try to find the hardest wrestlers as partners and wanted to wrestle in high school as a freshman to make myself better. I attend as many weekend and week long wrestling camps as I can. Committing to the goal of getting better is always in my thoughts.
I have great coaches both in my high school, Young Guns Wrestling and Quest Wrestling that I attend that have helped me succeed with only going into my seventh year of wrestling. Another goal of mine that I set was when the Covid-19 pandemic started. I wanted to use more to time to lifting ,running and virtually training with my wrestling club during the Covid-19 pandemic. Having a smaller online school day has helped me.
It would be hard to believe that wrestling would end in high school so I would like to wrestle in college as I work towards having a career.
