As a high school student-athlete, I am committed to achieving the most valuable education and athletic experience I can possess. I have grown to understand that my passions are learning new information and competing in the sport of wrestling. Academically I have developed an interest in the field of biology for I have interests in understanding life and how it functions. I display my passion for biology as well as the environment with a commitment to the Envirothon Club. Also, I completed a science project on " The Effects of Glyphosate(RoundUP) on the Nitrogen Cycle" in 2020. Within my life, I also place value in helping others with care as I volunteer at UPMC St. Margaret's Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Athletically I have always been involved in the sport of wrestling since the second grade. Since then I have involved every aspect of my life to learn everything I can to improve myself at the sport of wrestling. I also value the team aspect of wrestling because of the exchange of different techniques and experiences. I have also been in the position of a leader. I have been captain of my high school's freshman and junior varsity soccer teams. I wish to bring my athletic and academic ability to the collegiate level. Wrestling has changed my life for the better. It has made me goal-oriented and disciplined in all aspects of my life.
