Making it to the PIAA State Regional Qualifier was the highlight of my high school career, to this point. However, I feel that I have grown the most as a student athlete my freshman year when I did not qualify for the Regional tournament. That experience helped me grow as a person, and an athlete because I re-evaluated myself, and my work ethic. This helped me re-focus my own efforts on becoming a wrestler capable of competing at the collegiate level.
Although my team is inexperienced, this provides me with the leadership, and determination to strengthen my program as well as myself. Throughout this process I have learned the value of teamwork, commitment, and grit. I am looking for a program that will best fit me not only athletically, but academically. I believe that I have the leadership, and work-ethic to make an immediate impact on your program. As a four-sport athlete, and captain I believe I have what it takes to be the leader of your team.
