I have wrestled competitively since I was 5 years old (12 years). As a high school freshman and sophomore, I was 5’5" tall and weighed 260 lbs. I wrestled heavyweight on the junior varsity and varsity teams. Following my Sophomore year, I worked all summer to drop weight to 195 lbs, as requested by my wrestling coaches. Last season (Junior year) in the 195 lbs weight class I lost my state qualification match by a slim margin. This loss is my motivation to become a state qualifier and place as a Senior. I love the team aspect of the sport and I hate to lose with a passion. I am coach able and willing to go the extra mile to improve my wrestling skills. I am willing to work year-round to become the best wrestler I can be. While school is always first, wrestling is my passion and who I am.
