I’ve always been a really good learner when it comes to sports. My goal is to become the best that I can and to make a name for myself. I am currently ending my Junior year of school and will be starting my senior as the captain of the Water Polo team. I’ve been two state twice as of now. Once my freshman year and once my junior year. Although I am a good water polo player though, my goal is to make it to college for Wrestling. My freshman year I wrestled varsity and made it to league and only placed 6th. My sophomore year was really rough. I got very ill at the first tournament and collapsed on the mat while up 10-0 in the semi-finals and got pinned once I got back up. The next day I found out I had hand foot mouth disease and was out for a couple weeks. When I returned I tore my UCL and ended my season. This year I was fully recovered and won league and regionals and was seeded at state but was really nervous for my first time there and lost both my matches. Next year my team is changing from a 4A team to a 3A team and I’ll have a far greater shot at winning state which will be my goal. I practice and lift all year long so it should be very achievable. I am currently working to improve my GPA, this semester it is a 3.2 and it’s still going up. After high school it is my dream to wrestle Division 1 somewhere and improve my capabilities until I become the best.
