I am passionate about the sport of wrestling. Any chance to be able to participate at the college level would be a dream come true. I started wrestling in middle school just for fun, thinking that basketball was more my cup of tea. I never thought that wrestling would become so important to me. It has been a driving force for me to continually work toward improving myself not only in the competitive landscape of wrestling, but in all aspects of my life. Joining the high school team was a turning point for me. I was fortunate to have a great coach who believed in me and to be a part of an exceptional team culture that has helped develop me into the person I am today: dedicated, positive, supportive, mentally and physically tough. I am looking for a school where I can continue my education and live out my passion for the sport of wrestling. I am very coachable, and have not yet reached my full potential. I know if given the opportunity, I am someone who can be further developed.
Even with the Covid-19 pandemic still looming, I am still holding out hope that I will be able to compete this year in the spring and compete in our state competition. I have been following a regimented workout program to keep in top physical condition so I will be ready to compete.
