I’m a 2024 heavyweight at Sumner high school in Sumner Washington. I was voted by my teammates to be a Captain for my Senior year. My goal is to continue my education and wrestle in college for a national title.
I have been around wrestling all my life. Although I didn't understand it as much as a kid, I just really loved the sport. As I've gotten older and become more dedicated to the weight-room and finding quality mat time I've had some great success. I'm a 2x state placer with one of them being a 2nd place finish. I've set my goals to be a state champion this year. In my first year competing in Freestyle and Greco I was able to get some solid victories in Fargo during the Greco competition. I am excited for the improvements that i will make in the off season and make a run at State and Fargo titles next year.
I currently maintain a 3.4 GPA and I’m looking to improve that to a 3.5 or better this year. I believe that when you are an athlete your academics have to come first. The first step to being a successful student athlete is the ability to take care of your responsibilities in the classroom.
