Cody Vogel '16 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Cody Vogel. My goals for college both on and off the mat is to be as successful as possible. I always strive to do my best both in the classroom and on the wrestling mat. In school I was recently inducted into the Nation Honor Society and elected as an officer. I have been on high honor roll every semester of high school and most recently this summer been invited to be a part of the National Society of High School Scholars.

My goal and aspiration is to wrestle in college.  I have this burning passion to be the best I can be and to find a team that will support my strong work ethic, year-round dedication to the sport and an equal desire to win championships.  

Through out my sporting career, I have received numerous awards from coaches ranging from Most Dedicated, Most Coachable, Hardest Working Athlete and Team MVP; but my greatest achievement is having been selected as Team Captain my Sophomore, Junior and now upcoming Senior year. This leadership role comes with great pride and motivates me to be the best I can be among my teammates and other athletes in my school.
