Personal Statement
Some of my aspirations/goals are to become an NCAA champion, not only that but to lead a good life after my wrestling chapter ends and live a happy and successful life, working as Lawyer and to help defend the innocent that can't defend themselves.
What makes me a good candidate?
Personally I find myself as a leader that refuses to quit and with that comes my nature of stubbornness and commitment, with this I train hard and try to set myself from the rest of the group with my passion for training and winning. Furthermore, I believe that I would be a great candidate to pick because of my social skills and my ability to lead a team, and being able to level with different teammates on a personal level.
What sets me apart from different recruits?
I would have to say my passion for the sport, although other recruits have passions and dreams, mine is different because I have personal connections with wrestling and not just because family and friends have wrestled but because of the mental growth that came with wrestling. I understand that I may not be the best but that won't stop me from thriving to change that and to become the best. Athletically I believe that I'm in better shape than most and even though my complexion says otherwise I'm able to wrestle for long intense minutes. Another reason would have to be my wrestling awareness, personally I wrestle smart, and am quick to think and try to match my wrestling smarts with my movement on the mat. I also do think that I'm quite sneaky on the mat being able to throw in pinning combinations with inside cradles as well. My neutral work is crafty and I'm able to spot and identify an opening with ease and I'm not afraid of failing at taking a shot, I'll get right back up and commit even more to the next move.
I thank you for taking your time and reading this.
