During college I want to grow as an individual and perfect my craft. I want to place as an NCAA athlete. I am willing to put in the work each day to be a coachable athlete. I want to be part of a team that works well together toward a common goal. I want my team to be like my family where everyone is not only in it for themselves, but for the group. I hold myself to a high level of character in my sporting events. I strive to be respectful to my opponents as well as my coaches and referees. I make it a point to leave every match feeling like I have left everything on the mat.
I was born with a cleft lip and palate and it has shaped me as a person. I am empathetic and strive to include others regardless of their differences. My family means a lot to me and have taught to rise above adversity and hardships and the importance of sticking together. As a student I strive to be punctual with my school work. I live by the motto, "If you have time to do it again, you had time to do it right the first time" this helps me focus on completing my assignments to the best of my ability.
