Born and raised in Anchorage AK, I am 5' 8", 175 lb. competent utility baseball player. My preferred position is Short Stop or 2nd Base but am confident at catching as well as pitching. I am hardworking and committed showing up to every game at 100%. Knowing hard work and commitment pays off.
In the classroom, my focus is just as strong as on the field. I go to Bartlett Highs School and am on the top ranks of students in my class. I attend the Honors/AP programs with achieving a 3.73 GPA. Education is just as important to me as baseball and I take both very seriously.
I feel very fortunate to have a father whom is an ex pro hockey player help me with my training and realize if you want to remain playing your sport after high school, you must work hard and be dedicated to achieve that opportunity at the next level. I have a true love for the physical as well as the mental composure it takes to play the game. I tend to do very well under competitive pressure.
Playing at the high school level and traveling out of state thru out the year with travel teams, I train year around with Gamers Alaska Baseball and work hard to stay in physical shape to show up to play the game at my best.
I play middle infield, as I have quick twitch movements, and my reaction to get the ball is fast and my throw is accurate. I am a player that bats for contact and gets on base to use my speed to get myself from base to base. The summer going into my junior year I played down in Kent Washington for the Crimson Cannons to play at a higher competition level. I lived with a host family for 2 1/2 months knowing this would bring me closer to my goal of playing baseball at a higher level. We played in mainly 18u tournaments as a 16u team. I finished off the season there batting .306 second on the team. It was a great experience.
I had the opportunity to play in Washington this past year in front of college scouts at WSU. It had to be one of the most exciting times of my life. The competition was great, and I played even better finishing off 2-3 with an RBI. I was so appreciative for that opportunity.
I will begin my 2021 playing season with Bartlett High School and then head down to Washington State to play the summer season with Prospect United.
Overall, I want to play baseball at the next level in college. I just cannot imagine life quite yet if ever without playing baseball. I am ready to play at the highest collegiate level possible, given the opportunity. To be given that opportunity would be a dream come true, and I am willing to put in as much work as needed to do so!
Thank you in advance for any consideration.
