I want to go to college to continue my journey in baseball as well as continuing my education to acquire a degree. I do realize the importance of an education in correlation to having a successful career and building a good work ethic. I would also like the opportunity to travel away from home, meet new people and learn new experiences. Coming from Alaska, the opportunities for baseball has been very scarce which is the reason why my dedication to baseball has been my drive to be successful. I also know the daily sacrifices that my parents do for me makes me want to work harder and make them proud. This is my life journey that I’m excited to take but I also have a village of people who believe in me and have supported me to the fullest throughout my baseball journey.
The number one thing that makes me a good candidate and recruit for any team is my self confidence. This honestly allowed me to believe in myself when I felt like I could do better or was just as good as the best players on the field. Also adding my work ethic with that, I always come prepared to be a leader, be focused, and continue to learn something new to perfect my skill sets. I am a person who is big on conflict resolution amongst my team. I always stay positive that helps me be a great team player and lead by example.
