Tye Nepoose-Hill '21 Recruiting Profile

From the first day I played my first t-ball game I was hooked on the game of baseball.  I set goals for myself to play at the highest level I could. Now that I am 18 and my minor baseball career is coming to an end I can proudly say I have played on 8 AA & 4 AAA teams, selected to play in the Alberta Summer Games, and have provincial championships under my belt from the past 14 years. Now I aspired to play at the collegiate level. Having the opportunity to play baseball and receive a college education is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will change my life. 

I would consider myself a good candidate as I can play in various positions, I'm a coachable player and strive to better myself at every opportunity on and off the field. I also believe that as an athlete it is important to be a leader not only on the field but off the field as well. Over the last 6 years, I have helped mentor and coach in my community association winter programs in both baseball and hockey. 

I graduated in 2021 and after taking a year off school I am ready to get my education back on track, and it has always been a dream of mine to have baseball as part of my educational experience.  I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college program to match at the highest level of competition. 

Overall my college goals are: to get an education, play baseball, meet new people, and create memorable life experiences that will help me grow.
