Personal Statement

Baseball has lead me to Mott Community College in Flint, MI. I am a Covid Freshman with 4 years of eligibility remaining. My Covid Freshman Season ended with majority of my time spent at 1B and some Catching opportunities in our longer multi-game series. With 89 AB I had a .326 average with OBP at .452

Prior to College:

My baseball life events leading up to college started at the age of five and has included significant events and opportunities; LL all star teams, select travel ball to Cary, NC for USA baseball tournament, select travel team with trip to Taiwan to play against local school teams in a country wide tournament, high school baseball, and travel baseball giving me opportunities throughout the U.S.

My main goal in every game I play in is to win that game. I am a straight up team player and am willing to do what it takes at the plate whether it's laying down a bunt, getting the bat on the ball in a hit and run situation, or just driving a run in with a base hit or sac fly. I am an overall strong player with a high baseball IQ, as noted by my teammates and coaches, and therefore I stand out on the field by knowing my positions and the situations. My academics are good as I maintain A's and B's and I strive to help others in the classroom when possible.  I enjoy volunteering and one of my high school sports bright spots is my participation with Special Olympics Unified Sports. I truly love participating in Unified Sports and seeing the smiles on the athletes faces inspires me to be a better person.  A humbling moment for me in my 2019 academic year was when I was honored to be nominated and then win the Arizona Champions AIA Unified Sports Partner of the Year Award. I bring my love of sports to the game of baseball and look forward to competing at the next level and bringing another strong player and good student athlete to your school.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
