My college goals are to develop and grow into a field of study that will allow me to improve my community and nation. I am determined, hardworking, and excited to explore a degree in criminal justice. In 2020 I was newly diagnosed as a Type I diabetic. This diagnosis forced me to change my life goals. Joining a special warfare unit in the Navy would no longer be an option. I want to contribute to my community, nation, and make a difference in people’s lives through achieving a degree in criminology.
I have been playing baseball since I was 5 years old, competitively on a club team for 5 years, and on Varsity high school since my freshman year. I love the game, the teamwork, and the challenge it brings from every at bat and taking the field. I am a leader on my high school team and believe in always bringing positive energy into every game. Baseball is a team sport and I believe that creating a brotherly bond amongst your teammates only improves the game. I am a left-handed pitcher and center fielder that is always working towards improving my skills, learning new techniques, and getting stronger mentally and physically. I am looking forward to developing my skills during my college years and joining a team that will make me a better player/person on and off the field.
