Baseball has been, is and will always be my love and passion.
"Quiet Leader" would accurately describe me; I prefer to show what I'm capable of doing rather than talk about it. I'm very competitive and do best when challenged. I also strongly believe difficult moments define you as a player and person, so I'm always working and pushing myself and those around me to be better- regardless of the circumstances.
My Freshman year at Adolfo Camarillo was one to remember. Although I started off on the Freshman Team- when given the opportunity to play with the Varsity Team during winter ball, I was determined to earn a spot on the roster; I did just that.
I became a starter and pitched over 12 games, taking the W for all (pitched a few CG with less than 60 pitches). Most importantly, I was given the opportunity to start 2 CIF games, one of which sent us to D2 semi-finals. Despite not making-it to the Championship Game, I'm very proud of what our Team accomplished. I knew the road wasn't going to be easy, but was mentally and physically prepared to face and conquer the challenge.
I'm committed and 100% dedicated to school and baseball and will do what'ever it takes to accomplish my goals.
I appreciate you taking the time to view my profile and certainly look forward to hearing from you.
Respectfully,
Brian Uribe
