Alana Sugue '23 Recruiting Profile

I started my track and field career during my freshman year of high school, in 2020. It only took one practice for me to completely fall in love with this sport and all it has to offer. With my freshman year being cut off early due to COVID-19, I was only able to reach a PR of 7'6" in the pole vault. Since then, I have exponentially improved by 4 feet and am now at a personal best of 11'6". I am constantly looking for ways to improve and will stop at nothing to reach my full potential. Outside of sports, I prioritize academics and my grades. I pride myself in being an honors and AP student and my ability to maintain good grades and a high GPA. I plan to further challenge myself both academically and athletically and keep an active role in my community and school as a role model. I want to attend a college that will push me to the best of my abilities, while also allowing me to strive for academic greatness.
