Tanner Southern '17 Recruiting Profile

At present I am hoping to further my studies in the field of mathematics, I am also interested in kinesiology. I also love the baseball and am looking to play at the next level.  I am a good candidate for any team that I play on because I will compete for every single pitch.  I will push my team to be the best that we could possibly be. My least favorite thing in anything is losing, because of that I will always find a way to win. I am different than other pitchers because of my knowledge of a hitters tendencies, the varied movement of my pitches and the added ability to hit my locations. I will be a valuable asset to any bullpen. Athletically I know I still have not reached my full size and have more growing and filling out to do which will lead to more velocity on my pitches. That means I still have more room to improve my pitching. Academically I was lazy with grades my freshman and sophomore years, but I have really buckled down my Junior and Senior years.  My grades are continuing to improve.
