Chloe Aala '23 Recruiting Profile

When I was 8, my parents brought me to the driving range to introduce me to the game of golf, and ever since then, I knew that golf was the right fit for me. Golf itself is an individual sport unlike most others, but teams are still prevelent in high school, club, and collegiate play. Furthermore, even though mechanics are important in golf, 95% of the game is mental toughness. This is why, for my team, I always try to keep my teammates motivated and help give an auspicious talk before each round. I feel that making the team feel comfortable helps tememdously with their game play. Based off of what some players tell me while in tournaments, they all tell me that playing with me in the round helped put their nervousness at ease and that they felt comfortable. I think it is necessary for teammates to feel comfortable with each other in order to bond and play as a team instead of each individual person on the team going against another school. Regarding academics, I believe that I am an above average student. For highschool, my accumlative gpa as of right now is a 4.17, and for junior year I will be taking 4 AP classes.
