My name is Reid Robert Fisher. I am constantly striving to be the best and to become the best at anything I do. I am extremely competitive and am ready to take myself to the next level in soccer, for me that next level is playing in college as it has always been my dream to play college soccer.
I was born in 2004, and am currently a sophomore at Huntington Beach High School where I will graduate with the class of 2022. I am currently trading off between a 3.9 and 4.0 GPA. One of the extracurricular activities I am participating in is the AVID program at HBHS. In middle school, I participated in a Leadership Program called WEB and ASB and was awarded the Golden Apple Award, which is given to the student who was the best leader and best all around student in the school.
I am currently playing for and am a captain for the Slammers FC ECNL BU16 soccer team. I started my soccer career in AYSO, then moved to the AYSO extra program, where as team captain. I led my team to the Western States Regional Championship in 2016. From there, I made the move directly to a flight 1 club team, CDA Slammers, where we were runners up in the National Cup championship game. I was part of the inaugural Boys ECNL program, playing for the Slammers FC U14 and U15 teams.
I have been working on all aspects of my game to be able to perform at the highest level in ECNL. I was selected as one of the players of the month for ECNL in September 2018. I have also traveled to Mexico twice to compete in professional tournaments. The first tournament me and my team competed in was Copa Chivas in 2017. In this tournament our team advanced to the quarter finals and I was even blessed enough to grab a game winning goal in our final group game. The second tournament we played was Copa Zorros hosted by Atlas. In this tournament we advanced to the semi final.
I am an extremely hard worker and will always work hard to advance the team and make everyone around me better. I am a leader and I use my leadership skills to inspire my teammates during games to help our team and push my teammates to do their best. I am confident that whatever school I attend will get the best of me, both on the field and in the classroom, and beyond that, in life.
