Flynn Shoop '24 Recruiting Profile

Baseball has always been part an important  part of my life. Throughout my early childhood, I played all the sports; Baseball, Flag Football, Soccer, and Basketball, but as I grew older it was clear that baseball was the sport I loved the most. I began devoting a lot of my time to baseball and always striving to get to the next level. I think what separates me from the rest of competition is my constant drive to improve my mental and physical game. I feel that my work-ethic and my drive to continue to improve are second to no one. I am coachable and am respectful to all coaches, umpires, and teammates. I am a quick player and pride myself on my fielding. I am fast and can hit for gap to gap power and I pride myself on my baseball IQ and always knowing what to do and where to be on every single play. I am a 4.0 student in the classroom and I strive to obtain and improve my grades. I work to improve myself on and off the field every single day and feel that is why I would make a difference on any team I play on.
