Baseball is in my heart. It is my passion, my inspiration. My dream is to have a career in baseball, either as a player, employee, manager, or entrepreneur. I believe playing baseball at the collegiate level is the best step for pursuing my dream. By committing myself to learning the sport, I have come to appreciate how it teaches important life lessons. It taught me how to strive for excellence, how to persevere, and how to grow with victories and defeats. It encouraged me to be a fair individual, a humble winner, and a thoughtful loser. It inspired me to be a valued teammate, a responsible person, a dedicated student, and a good citizen. Because baseball enables me to improve as a player and as an individual, I value each practice and each game. As I give hours of hard work honing new skills and expanding my understanding of the game, I feel deeply rewarded with knowing I am growing into a better person in many aspects of life. I sincerely hope to “do what I love and love what I do” by having a career in baseball. I will be deeply thankful for an opportunity to play college baseball.
