Richard Kim '22 Recruiting Profile

My aspiration is to play baseball at the collegiate level.   At a glance I may appear to be just like many other student athletes.  However,  I possess talent and academics that differentiates me from the pack.  I have been playing year round competitive travel baseball since age 10 and have contributed to winning well over a dozen NCTB tournaments throughout Northern California.   As a freshman I batted .460 with the most doubles and walks  and was awarded  MVP and First Team All League.   My sophomore year I was on track to having another dominant year at the plate before Covid 19 shut down our league.   Baseball is a source of my inspiration in every aspect of my life.  It has taught me characteristics to be a leader, motivator, and an all around team player.
