Austin Ford '22 Recruiting Profile

I strive to be an asset to a successful collegiate baseball program inside and outside the lines. My ideal team culture has a very competitive, disciplined and family driven atmosphere, a willingness to put in the hard work, a never give up work ethic. I also hope to be challenged both mentally and physically and to challenge my teammates as well. I know that this "team dynamic" is important to me based on my family experiences.

One of my younger brothers has a rare genetic syndrome that limits his ability to walk and talk. He has taught me to not take things for granted and to appreciate what I can do on and off the baseball field. I respect the game and would describe myself as a coachable, very competitive leader with a strong baseball I.Q.

If given the opportunity, I am going to bring all that I can on and off the field.
