My parents told me I was throwing a ball up against a wall and catching it at 6 months old. At 4 years old I was throwing a ball in to a pitch back and hitting it when it came back to me. I started playing baseball when I was 4 years old. I grew up on a baseball field because my big brother played. I live and breathe the game When I am not practicing with a team, I am going to batting cages, lessons for hitting and in field, playing wherever I can, plus the small time I get at home to watch college videos
My dream is to play D1 baseball. I research colleges, the acceptance rate and graduation rate. I know that being a Athlete also comes with being a good student so I will always try my best to push myself academically. Living in a small town I try to be a part of giving back. There are a couple foundations I help with and our travel ball team has held youth baseball camps.
I am a team leader and vocal on the field. I am a utility player who is focused on short stop, center and pitching, but can play any position with agility and skill. I am a fast base runner and quick on my feet. My bat speed is good and I have quick hands. I also know there is so much more to learn and I have so much farther to go.
I understand that being a Student/Athlete takes determination, dedication and hard work, and I am willing to put 100% in to whatever I have to do to make my goal of being a D1 baseball player, a reality.
