Alexander Nguyen '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches, My name is Alex Nguyen. Ever since I was baby, I've been exposed to baseball and it's been my first love ever since I could walk. My aspirations started, when I saw Kurt Suzuki, playing on the A's, and I'd think to myself saying "This is what I want to do, I want to play on those fields, I want to throw out the winning run at second, I want to hit the walk off home run." God, Family, Academics, and Baseball are the principles of my family and that has never changed throughout my life. I've always prided myself as being then hardest worker I can be each and every single day, so that when the time comes to show what I've got, I'll have no regrets. I also pride myself on doing everything to my 120% and never take a day, game, or practice for granted. Day in and day out, I try my very best to lead my fellow teammates, as well as set a good example for not only my teammates, but most importantly my siblings and my cousins. I live with my father, Tommy, and my mother, Lynn, as well as my 2 younger siblings, Jaden (12), and Marylynn (9). I love spending time with my family, working out, fishing, and doing all things to improve each and every day as a person and as a ballplayer. I enjoy learning new things and techniques from my coaches and teachers, in order to be the best version of myself, whether that's on the ball field or in the classroom. I look forward to the recruitment process, and am willing to do whatever it takes to continue my baseball career, and hopefully one day play in the major leagues. My goal is to help my family, and give back to my parents for all they've done for me.
