Mathias Moore '22 Recruiting Profile

I will be a junior this upcoming school year at James Logan High School.  My goal is to attend a college with a competitive athletic program to continue my personal growth. I’m looking for challenges as I enjoy a competitive environment. I am competing for a Division 1 High School program and performing well in both Basketball and Track and Field.

I am undecided about my college major at present.  I know whatever I decide, I will lead by example as I have high expectations of myself. I bring a lot to the teams I play in both High School and AAU.  It is in my nature to try to encourage my teammates.  I was appointed by my coaches as the Team Captain. I received the “Coaches Award” for both years on the basketball team. I currently play Point Guard/Forward.  I am coachable and a quick learner.  I watch a lot of films to learn how I can improve my game on and off the court. I have a lot to work on as I am never content.  I’m humble and I have my family to thank for that.  I count my blessings and appreciate what I have.
