I am dedicated, caring and willing to work hard at all times. My family and friends are the most influential people in my life. They all love and support me, and my parents have given me opportunities that most kids never get. I think I first started playing baseball when I was seven years old and I have loved playing ever since. Baseball has taught me many valuable lessons, like the importance of attitude, effort, and grit through difficult times. My work ethic is the thing that my coaches and teachers comment on the most. I have experienced success with baseball, but my family has taught me the importance of being well-rounded, and academics have always come first. This meant that I have always had to work very hard to balance a difficult class load with a busy sports schedule, but I am thankful because I believe this has prepared me for college where I hope to continue both at an even higher level.
