Ty Thomson '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ty Thomson I am a senior at Coronado High School in Colorado Springs Colorado. Life has been anything but easy over the last year of my life. After starting on varsity my freshman year. Doing well and stepping up my game in the summer. I tore my ACL twice. At first I thought it was the end of the world. I learned quickly after though, it's not the end of the wrold everything can be overcome. I have been working constantly in the gym training and getting stronger to play this year. My work ethic and my drive to play this year and continue to play in college is more than any other recruit out there. I work hard in the classroom in order to keep my 3.85GPA. I work hard with my teammates at practice to better myself as their leader and captain. I've be blessed to be a captain for my team and set an example for my team on the field, in the classroom, and off the field as well. I know no one is working harder than me to prove I can still play at the highest level even after two major setbacks. With me you're getting a hard worker, great teammate, and a even better person. I know this junior year and my senior year will be big for me. I hope whoever reads this and takes the chance on me know that they are getting a person that will work for anything and everything to better myself, my family, and my team.
