My goals and aspirations as a baseball player have always been the same. My parents are both college athletes, and with my dad being a high school coach, they have both instilled a hard work ethic and passion for sports. With their direction, I have always aspired to work as hard as I can to be the best possible player that I can. It’s a cliché, but I have heard every coach I have ever had and hear my dad tell his team this every year, bring good attitude and effort to each day and good things will happen. Now that I am in high school, I see that same cliché come into play in the class room. I work hard for my GPA, and bringing that same attitude and effort to the class room helps me achieve my academic goals. School is not as easy for me as baseball, but the things I have learned in sports help me every day in the classroom.
My goal now is to work to play at the next level. Find a school that will fit with life goals of becoming a teacher and coach. To grow as a player, continue learning and working to become the best that I possibly can be. To keep giving my best attitude and effort in the class room to reach my goals. I believe that with what I bring to the game of baseball, I am a great fit for any program. My work ethic, values, spirit, along with my attitude and effort would be a great addition to a collegiate program.
